Installation Procedure

  1. Align the striker to the I/P, placing the striker ends at the holes in the underside of the I/P carrier.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the striker retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  3. Close the I/P compartment door and verify the operation of the latch to the striker.
