31. Low Clutch Sprag Assemble

Low Clutch Sprag Assemble





1. Inspect the low clutch sprag for the following:
^ Worn or damaged splines
^ Scoring on the inside diameter of the races
^ Wear or cracks
2. Check that the low clutch sprag rotation freewheels and locks up in the correct direction.





3. Install the low clutch roller thrust bearing (17).
4. Install the low clutch sprag (16) into the case (24).
