Case Components Disassemble





1. Inspect the transmission vent assembly for damage or being plugged. If the vent is damaged the torque converter housing (227) must be replaced.





2. Remove the pressure test plug (40).
3. Remove the level hole plug (36) and fluid level hole plug O-ring (37) from the case (604).
