Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear

SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - CENTER REAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution.

2. Remove the rear seat back.




3. Disengage the center belt escutcheon from the rear shelf trim panel.
4. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.




5. Remove the rear seat center belt retractor fastener (1).
6. Remove the rear seat center belt retractor (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the center seat belt retractor (2) to the cross car beam. Ensure the retainer tab engages the notch in the cross car beam.
2. Install the center seat belt retractor fastener (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Tighten the rear seat center shoulder belt retractor fastener to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the rear shelf trim panel.




4. Install the rear seat center belt escutcheon to the rear shelf.
5. Install the rear seat back.
6. Install the rear seat cushion.
