Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Replacement

^ Tools Required
- J 42841-A Rear Oil Seal Remover
- J 45930-A Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installer

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the flywheel. Service and Repair





2. Using the J 42841-A remove the rear crankshaft oil seal. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Removal.

Installation Procedure





Important: Make sure the drain is clear before installing the new crankshaft rear oil seal. Failure to clear the drain could cause the crankshaft rear oil seal to leak.

1. Using the J 45930-A install the rear crankshaft oil seal. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation.
2. Install the flywheel.
