Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures: Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
1	Torque Converter Assembly Tip: Place a drain pan under the front of the transmission. Use care not to damage the torque converter seal during the installation procedure. Rotate the torque converter assembly in order to engage the input shaft, the stator shaft, and the lugs onto the oil pump drive gear.
