Removal Procedure

- Reposition the condenser to access the oil cooler. Refer to Condenser Replacement (Heavy Duty Cooling) or Condenser Replacement (Standard Cooling) or Condenser Replacement (LC3) .
- Use the J 41623-B to disconnect the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines from the TOC. See Special Tools .
- Disconnect the TOC lines from the TOC retainer clip.
- Use the DT-47731 to disconnect the engine oil cooler (EOC) lines from the cooler. See Special Tools .
- Disconnect the EOC lines from the cooler retainer clips.
- Remove the cooler mounting bolts.
- Remove the cooler.
IMPORTANT:
It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the A/C system during oil cooler replacement.
Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser.
Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser.
