Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console trim plate (1).
  2. Remove the shifter trim plate (2).
  3. Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  4. Remove the shift knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .

  5. Remove the shift indicator lamp sockets (2) from the shift indicator by rotating the lamp sockets one quarter turn.
  6. Release the locking tabs (1) and remove the shift indicator from the shift control assembly.
