Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1

Callout	Component Name
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement (DX) . Remove the engine oil fill cap. Remove the power steering reservoir cap.
1	Engine Sight Shield Tip: Remove the engine sight shield by lifting straight up.
2	Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Tip: Only remove the front section of the supercharger inlet duct assembly. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement .
3	Ignition Coil Assembly Cover Tip: Remove the ignition coil assembly cover by lifting straight up.
4	Ignition Coil Assembly Bolts (Qty: 2) Tip: Do not remove these fasteners if replacing an individual ignition coil. If replacing an individual ignition coil, proceed to callout 7. Disconnect the main electrical connector from the coil assembly. Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
5	Ignition Coil Assembly Studs (Qty: 2) Tip: Do not remove these fasteners if replacing an individual ignition coil. If replacing an individual ignition coil, proceed to callout 7. Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
6	Ignition Coil Assembly Tip: Ensure that the spark plug seals, callout 9, are in place during reassembly.
7	Ignition Coil Bolt (Qty: 4) Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
8	Ignition Coil (Qty: 4) Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil. Ensure that the spark plug seals, callout 9, are in place during reassembly.
9	Spark Plug Seal (Qty: 4)
