Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Right Side .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Right Valve Rocker Arm

    IMPORTANT: Ensure each camshaft follower remains matched to the original stationary hydraulic lash adjuster (SHLAs) and original location the components were assembled in.
  2. Remove the camshaft followers from the right cylinder head.
  3. Clean and inspect the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arms Cleaning and Inspection .
