Oil Pan Assemble - Off Vehicle

  1. Install a NEW O-ring on the engine oil level switch/temperature sensor.
    2. Fig 2: View Of Oil Level Sensor

  2. Install the engine oil level switch/temperature sensor.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the engine oil level switch/temperature sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine oil level switch/temperature sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install a NEW O-ring on the oil pan drain plug.
  5. Install the oil pan drain plug.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pan drain plug to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
