Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the remote power steering reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LH2) or Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LY7) .
  2. Disconnect the actuator solenoid electrical connector.
  3. Remove the left exhaust camshaft position (CMP) actuator solenoid bolts.
  4. Remove the left exhaust CMP actuator solenoid.
