Circuit/System Verification
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition ON, observe the TP sensor 1 for a voltage parameter between 0.35-4.58 volts, with the accelerator pedal in the released position.
- Ignition ON, observe the TP sensor 2 for a voltage parameter between 0.35-4.597 volts, with the accelerator pedal in the released position with a scan tool.
- With a scan tool, observe the TP sensors 1 and 2 parameter. The scan tool should indicate Agree.
- Clear the DTCs with the scan tool. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC, or within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records.
- Ignition OFF for 60 seconds, operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTCs.
- Ignition ON, perform several accelerator pedal sweeps, then observe the previous TP sensor parameters and DTC information with the scan tool.
- If DTC P0120 or P0220 is the only DTC set, and all of the previous TP sensor parameters are normal, replace the ECM.
- Verify that DTCs P0641 or P0651 are not set.
- If DTC P0641 or P0651 is set, refer to DTC P0641 or P0651 .
- Engine running, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. DTCs P0120, P0122, P0123, P0220, P0222, P0223, or P2135 should not set.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
