Fuel Used

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) calculates and displays the total amount of fuel used since the last reset of the value.

The engine control module (ECM) sends the fuel used value to the instrument panel module (IPM) via GMLAN message. The IPC receives a GMLAN message from the instrument panel module (IPM) with fuel information. The fuel used value is retained during ignition OFF and can be changed between English and Metric units by pressing the English/Metric button on the driver information center (DIC) switch. Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC switch for one second in order to reset the Fuel Used display.
