Engine Flywheel Installation

IMPORTANT: Make sure the flywheel is installed correctly. Engine Side is stamped on the flywheel to assist with installation.

Install the flexplate.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the flexplate bolts.
Tighten the fasteners following a criss-cross pattern.

Tighten:
- Tighten the flexplate bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft) for the first pass.
- Tighten the flexplate bolts to 80 N.m (59 lb ft) for the second pass.
- Tighten the flexplate bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) for the final pass.
