Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the caps from the EVAP lines.
  2. Install the EVAP canister.
  3. Using a flat bladed screwdriver, engage the rear bracket clip.

  5. Using a flat bladed screwdriver, engage the front bracket clip.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Tighten the EVAP canister bracket nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  9. Raise the vehicle.
  10. Install the EVAP canister bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  11. Connect the EVAP canister quick connecting lines. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  13. Connect the EVAP CVS electrical connector (1).
  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Install the right side, rear bumper step pad. Refer to Step Pad Replacement - Top Rear Bumper in Bumpers.
