Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift knob fully onto the shift control shaft.
    2. Fig 2: Adjusting Shift Knob Retaining Screw

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. If previously removed, install the shift knob retaining screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the shift knob trim ring to the shift knob.
