Installation Procedure

  1. Replace the oil level indicator tube O-ring.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the oil level indicator.
  5. Install the front compartment sight shield as necessary. Refer to Sight Shields, Hood Adjuster, Hood Bumper, Hood Latch Replacement in Body Front End.
