Installation Procedure

  1. Align the knee bolster bracket (2) to lower the IP.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 4 fasteners (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb. in.).

  3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Without UV2)  or Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (UV2) .
  4. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
