Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left hand closeout panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Park Brake Release Lever And Brake Release Cable

  2. Remove the screws securing the park brake release lever.
  3. Disconnect the park brake release cable (1) from the lever.

  4. Remove the screws (3) securing the hood release lever (1).

  5. Remove the screws (2) securing the knee bolster trim (1) to the knee bolster bracket.
  6. Remove the knee bolster trim (1).
