Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the striker from the I/P compartment. Refer to Striker Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
  2. Remove the retaining screws which attach the trim bezel to the I/P compartment.
  3. Pull the trim bezel outward to access the electrical connectors
  4. Remove the valet lockout switch from the trim bezel.
  5. Remove the bezel from the I/P compartment.
