Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the driver knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster .
  3. Remove the driver information center (DIC) switch. Refer to Driver Information Center Switch Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
  5. Remove the ignition switch from the DIC pod.

    Carefully pull to unsnap.
