Coolant Temperature

The ECM sends engine coolant temperature data to the IPC via class 2 serial data messages. The gage on the IPC displays similar engine coolant temperature values. When the engine coolant temperature is lower than the normal operating range -10°C, the DIC displays COOLANT TEMP-LOW. When the engine coolant temperature is above the normal operating range, the DIC displays COOLANT TEMP-HIGH.
