Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Align the knee bolster bracket (3) to the lower I/P, then install the knee bolster fasteners (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  2. Install the DLC to the knee bolster.
  3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster .
  4. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (LHD)  or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD)  or to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (LHD)  or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (RHD) .
