Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connectors and install the sunload sensors to the defroster grille. Refer to Sunload and Twilight Sentinel Sensor Replacement .
  2. Align the defroster grille (3) with the I/P carrier.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the defroster grille fasteners (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the defroster grille fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the I/P upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
  5. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
