Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed. The transmission removal procedure includes the removal of the concentric actuator cylinder from the transmission.

  3. Remove the clip from the line connection at the front of the dash. The graphic shows the view from the top of the engine for clarity.
  4. Separate the hydraulic line connection and remove the concentric actuator cylinder from the vehicle.
  5. Cap the vehicle hydraulic line to prevent contamination of the system.
