Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left .
    2. Fig 1: Removing Valve Lifters Front Bores Using A Magnet

  2. Remove the valve lifters from the bores using a magnet.
  3. Place the valve lifters in a rack sequentially so they can be reinstalled in their original order if the valve lifters are to be reused.
