Installation Procedure

  1. Insert a new O-ring seal fully into the seal groove.

  2. Position the oil pump pipe screen to the engine.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the oil pump pipe screen bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pump pipe screen bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  5. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
