Installation Procedure

Remove the masking from the cylinder head intake ports and ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and dry.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the seals on the intake manifold flange are properly seated and installed.

Position the intake manifold flange (2) to the cylinder heads.
Apply thread adhesive GM P/N 12345382, (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the intake manifold flange bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the intake manifold flange bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the intake manifold flange bolts in sequence to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
