Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the engine mount bracket mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  3. Remove the screw jack.
  4. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  5. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (LA3, LY9) in Engine Electrical.
  6. Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right (LA3, LY9) in Engine Exhaust.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
