Installation Procedure

  1. Coat the lip of the rear main oil seal with clean engine oil.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying J 42067

  2. Use the J 42067  to install the rear main oil seal. See Special Tools and Equipment .
  3. Clean the rear crankshaft flange.
  4. Install the engine flywheel to the crankshaft. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement .
