Oil Pump Removal

Tools Required

  1. Mount the J 42065  to prevent movement of the crankshaft. See Special Tools and Equipment .
  2. Use the J 42098  to remove the crankshaft drive gear bolt. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  4. Remove the crankshaft drive gear.
  5. Remove the oil pump collar.

  7. Remove the oil pressure sensor.

  9. Using a suitable tool, insert a self-drilling sheet metal screw into the steel ring of the crankshaft front oil seal.
  10. Use pliers to pull out the crankshaft front oil seal.

  12. Remove the oil pump bolts.
  13. Remove the oil pump and gasket.
