Oil Pan Installation

Apply a 2 mm (0.08 in) bead of silicone sealing compound, GM P/N 1052942 (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the oil pan mating surface.
Position the oil pan to the engine block.
Apply thread adhesive GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the oil pan bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the oil pan bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the oil pan bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
