Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection

  1. Clean the oil pan in solvent.
  2. Remove all the sludge and the oil deposits.
  3. Clean the oil pan mating surface.
  4. Inspect for the following conditions:
    • Stripped or damaged thread holes
    • Chipped or cracked sealing flanges
  5. Replace the oil pan as necessary.
