Intake Manifold Assemble

    Fig 1: Installing Injector O-Rings

  1. Lubricate the new injector O-rings with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the new injector O-rings on the injectors.

  3. Install the fuel rail with the fuel injectors to the intake manifold.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the fuel rail attaching bolts to the intake manifold.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel rail attaching bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  5. Install the fuel rail attaching bolt near the fuel supply-return lines.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel rail attaching bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  6. Install the wiring harness and connectors to the fuel injectors.
