Camshaft Removal - Right

  1. Remove the camshaft bearing cap bolts using the loosening sequence.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Code Marks On Camshaft Bearing Caps

  2. Remove the camshaft bearing caps. Note the code marks on the bearing caps (L1, L2, L3, etc.).
  3. Remove the camshaft with the seal attached.
  4. Remove the camshaft seals.
