Installation Procedure

  1. Position the air cleaner assembly into the engine compartment.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 3 bolts securing the air cleaner assembly to the shock tower and upper tie bar.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner assembly bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Refer to Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Replacement .
