  1. 2:  This step ensures that the EBCM is capable of transmitting serial data on the class 2 serial data circuit.

1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check-Engine Controls? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Engine Controls

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Select chassis application on the scan tool.
  3. Attempt to display anti-lock brake system (ABS) data on the scan tool.
Can ABS data be displayed?		 Go to Intermittent Conditions Go to Diagnostic System Check - ABS in Antilock Brake System
