Installation Procedure

NOTE: When removing or installing the backup lamp switch, do not use an open end wrench. Use only a socket in order to avoid damage to the switch assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the backup lamp switch.
Tighten: Tighten the switch to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (2) to the backup lamp switch (1).
Lower the vehicle.
