Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install a new gasket, the cover, and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pan cover bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

    2. Fig 2: Installing/Removing Oil Filter

  2. Install the oil filter.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil filter to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Refill the engine oil.
