Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the electric fan assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (LS6) in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Air Conditioning .
  3. Loosen the A/C drive belt tensioner bolt.

  4. Remove the A/C drive belt tensioner.
