Installation Procedure

  1. Install the right cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Installation - Right .

  2. Install the negative battery cable to the right cylinder head. Refer toBattery Negative Cable Replacement (LHD) or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (RHD) or Battery Negative Cable Replacement (LS6) in Engine Electrical.

  3. Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement .
  4. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right (LS6) in Engine Exhaust.
  5. Install the engine coolant air bleed pipe. Refer toCoolant Air Bleed Pipe Assembly Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  6. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  7. Install the valve rocker arms and pushrods. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Replacement .
