Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler mounting bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

  4. Connect the auxiliary transmission cooler outlet line.
  5. Connect the auxiliary transmission cooler inlet line.

  7. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
  8. Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission General Specifications  and/or Fluid Capacity Specifications .
  9. Check the auxiliary transmission oil cooler for leaks.
