Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Reposition the wiring harness heat shield to obtain access.

  5. Disconnecting crankshaft position (CKP) electrical connector (3).
  6. Fig 2: Removing Crankshaft Sensor Bolt

  7. Remove the crankshaft sensor bolt.
  8. Remove the crankshaft sensor.
