Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. IMPORTANT: Do not remove the engine control module (ECM) from the ECM bracket.
    Do not remove the ECM redundant ground wire from the ECM.
  3. Remove the ECM bracket bolts and reposition the ECM bracket in order to provide access.

  5. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

  7. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  8. Remove the CMP sensor.
