Conditions for Running the DTC

The engine speed is more than 80 RPM.
The ignition 1 voltage is between 10.5-18 volts.
The fuel system is in closed loop.
The engine speed is above idle.
The engine is at operating temperature.
The ECM has commanded the EVAP canister purge valve ON and OFF, and the duty cycle is more than 2.5 percent, at least once during the ignition cycle.
DTC P0459 runs continuously once the above conditions have been met.
