Upper Intake Manifold Assemble Procedure

  1. Install the sight shield grommet.
    2. Fig 2: Removing & Installing Sight Shield Ball Studs

  2. Install the sight shield ball studs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sight shield ball studs to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  3. Install the communicator valve.
  4. Install the communicator valve bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the communicator valve bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the barometric pressure (BARO) sensor.
  6. Install the BARO sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the BARO sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the NEW throttle body gasket.
  8. Install the throttle body.
  9. Install the throttle body bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
