Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
    2. Fig 1: Disconnecting Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor electrical connector.
  3. Clean away all dirt and debris from the TFT sensor.
  4. Place a suitable drain pan under the transmission.
  5. Remove the TFT sensor (4).
