Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
    2. Fig 1: Disconnecting Backup Lamp Switch Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (3).
  3. Remove the backup lamp switch wire harness from the bracket.
  4. Using a Snap-On™VSM5222 22 mm angle head open end wrench, or equivalent, remove the backup lamp switch (2).
