Zone 9

  1. Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. If activating entire air bag system, complete all steps. If activating passenger side impact air bag module and seat belt pretensioner, go to step  4.
  2. Connect driver side impact air bag module and seat belt pretensioner connectors, located under driver front seat. See Figure. Install CPA clips.
  3. Connect driver-side air bag module connector. See Figure. Install CPA clip. Install driver-side knee bolster. Connect passenger-side air bag module connector. See Figure. Install CPA clip. Install passenger-side knee bolster.
  4. Connect passenger side impact air bag module and seat belt pretensioner connectors, located under passenger-side front seat. See Figure. Install CPA clips. Go to next step.
  5. Install SIR fuse in fuse block, located under rear seat cushion. See Figure. Install rear seat cushion. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition on. Check SIR system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
